This pad-foot stool displays a simple but appropriate carving on the knees of each leg.  It is made from walnut but can be fashioned in cherry, ash, oak or mahogany.  To see the detail of this piece click here.

This stool, with its claw feet, is typical of the Philadelphia influence (circa 1760) in its stout structure and style of carving.  It is made from mahogany.
